How to change the interiors in a few steps

If you want to renovate the interior of the house, it can be done with minimal investment, having a taste, a bit of creativity. Last year, having finished repair and renovation of the bedroom, we wanted to take up the living room, but the budget and time did not fit into any framework, so we decided to do the minimum, slightly updating the appearance of the room.
How to update the interior for a few simple steps
There are good habits that need to be practiced with some regularity. One of them is certainly to renew the appearance of the room, just like we do with our wardrobe! Don’t worry if you can’t change things the way you want them to, sometimes just a few moves are enough to decorate your home, to give a fresh visual effect to the whole.
It’s worth starting with small things or making minimal interventions. This is a permutation, replacement, update of some items. You can buy some additions to the furniture, or replace part of it (an old chair or chairs, nightstand or shelves). Swap furniture items, remove unnecessary items that do not fit the style, make room.

Construct to the one that needs to be changed
Well think about what you need to change first, what accessories to add to breathe new life into your interior, to renew it. But don’t buy something thoughtlessly. Maybe it will be a mirror framed in a certain style, wall clock, decorative vase, candles, cushions for the sofa, sconces. Don’t buy things spontaneously, so you risk wasting money and choking up the house with unnecessary things. Look around you.
What can you save and what can you get rid of without regrets? What can you just move? First of all, get rid of spoiled things or things you don’t need. For example, it could be a coffee table or a banquet, an old floor lamp that you haven’t included in the last two or three years. Take a note of those items that need repair and restoration. Make a list of items that you need to buy to restore them. For example, buying a sofa costs a lot of money, but changing the upholstery is much cheaper.
Sometimes it is enough to buy or sew the cover on the upholstered furniture. What you can do with your own hands – dare, try your hand, but what will help professionals, do not rush to refuse their help.
Style requires some sacrifice
As already mentioned, it is absolutely necessary to periodically remove unnecessary and poor quality objects from the interior. We know that style often requires sacrifices: sometimes it is really difficult to get rid of objects. But after that the room will be freer and more stylish. A house that you move around without the risk of stumbling onto the edge of a table or chair adds visual comfort, adds space, making the rooms more habitable.
Restore tastefully
So, you took a close look at your old room, moved some things around, and even threw something out of accessories and cute knickknacks. So you’re ready for a creative recovery! What does that mean? Look closely at the furniture you don’t like anymore.
A few examples. Wrap your old grandmother’s chairs in coloured velvet. You can take the seat off, skin and paint it or varnish it. It is harder to renovate an old closet in the hallway, but you can paint it in an unexpected color and paint it to make it more modern and beautiful. Unleash your creativity by arming yourself with the taste you have, make your home brand new and, above all, truly unique.
Do not underestimate the walls
The design and colour of the walls is important and they have a great visual effect. You know this very well and have seen it when you change wallpaper or paint. It is possible that at the moment you are not ready to completely renovate the room, but you can wallpaper one wall or drape a part of it.
Choose special techniques for some corners, which can give strength and individuality to some details. You can use paintings and panels. Remove photos and images not related to each other and to the style of the room, place quality images, creative prints and interesting photos. Prepare hooks and a hammer and let the creativity go, but be more careful to your fingers.
Buys for new house
If you followed the advice, your home may already look completely new, but if you’re not completely satisfied, it’s time to make some purchases. This should not be a big expense. For example, think about textiles. A beautiful blanket or decorative pillows with geometric pattern, new curtains will noticeably liven up, refresh the interior.
You can buy a table tablecloth or a new table lamp with a funny design and fabric lampshade, a beautiful cachepot or stand with ampel plants. But these are just a few elements that you can do to transform a room, the rest depends on your imagination.
